The Annual Exhibition of Members of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists in 2024 once again opened its doors, presenting a diverse spectrum of artistic creation. Held in the Prsten Gallery of the Meštrović Pavilion, the exhibition took place during July and August, bringing together around a hundred artists whose works were created between 2023 and 2024.
This exhibition features works submitted through an open call, as well as pieces by invited artists who have made a distinctive mark with their creativity over the past year. Its aim is to highlight artistic diversity and innovation, and to provide artists with an opportunity to present their work to a broader audience and the professional community.
This year places particular emphasis on new artistic qualities and aspirations, reflecting the effort and energy artists have invested in their work. The Annual Exhibition serves as a platform for exploring new artistic directions and ideas, mirroring the vitality and dedication of artists in their creative practice. The tradition of bringing together artists of all generations offers valuable insight into the contemporary art scene, while the presence of new members introduces fresh perspectives and innovative approaches.
The variety of styles and media on display reflects the richness and complexity of our artistic community. Visitors are invited to explore these diverse artistic worlds, enriching their experience and reflecting on art from new angles. Thus, the Annual Exhibition becomes not only an exhibition, but also a celebration of creativity, togetherness, and artistic expression in all its forms.“
